Event: WWE WrestleMania 35

Why Fans Hated It: Kurt Angle could be forgiven for thinking he'd be treated with maximum respect when he returned to the WWE family in 2017. His first role as Raw GM made sense, but it quickly became evident to Kurt that his body couldn't cope with the demands of working top-tier pay-per-view bouts.

He was breaking down physically and that was that.

Still, WWE could've come up with a better way to bow out than losing to Baron Corbin in just six minutes on a card stuffed with no less than 12 matches (16 if you count pre-show fare). That was a real slap in the face to Angle's legacy, and it was so uninspiring that fans hated it going into 7 April 2019's big night.

Corbin wasn't a worthy opponent for Kurt's retirement, and the whole thing felt too low-key overall. This just shouldn't have happened to someone so respected.
