10 Wrestling Matches You Should NEVER EVER Watch

5. Diesel Vs. The British Bulldog - WWF In Your House: Great White North

The British Bulldog enjoys a suitably bizarre in-ring legacy, in that he was a fantastic talent utterly incapable of carrying an inferior performer. He was like clay; he could be moulded into a masterpiece by a true artist, but on his own, he couldn't do much of anything.

This...isn't a metaphor; at In Your House: Great White North, he simply lay flat on the canvas doing absolutely nothing. As did his opponent. That's facetious - the opening phase was warm enough - but it settled into a kiln pace within minutes as Bulldog worked Diesel's leg. Diesel's height allowed him to grab a headlock at the same time, resulting in the most tedious stalemate you've ever seen. It was a comments section argument of a pro wrestling match.

With Bret Hart commentating at ringside, Bulldog attempted an actual story beat by trying to lock in the Sharpshooter, but his lack of technique coupled with Diesel's gigantic frame conspired to make it look like he was trying to dispense with a particularly troublesome Christmas tree while nursing a New Year's hangover.

Famously so awful that Vince McMahon threw down his headset at the finish, in a state of infuriated boredom, Diesel and Bulldog conspired to make the sports entertainment tycoon want a good pro wrestling match.
