10 Wrestling Matches You Should NEVER EVER Watch

4. Yokozuna Vs. King Mabel - WWF In Your House: Great White North

Here's a cheat sheet for the benefit of younger fans piqued by the New Generation Era of the WWF: some people will tell you that it was dire, a period in which there were no stars, only wave after wave of horrendous occupational gimmicks. This isn't true. The in-ring was tremendous, influential, and enhanced by intricate long-term booking.

But definitely skip 1995. Watch the GIF of Aja Kong obliterating that poor woman's face, a handful of Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels matches, and proceed directly to 1996. Do not pass go. Do not watch Vince McMahon collect about $200 as his business hit the sh*tter, joined by his in-ring product.

In lieu of steroids, McMahon satiated his size fetish by promoting obese performers in prominent positions, as he did at one of the worst PPVs of all time. There is but one remotely entertaining element of this match; the camera cuts to Jim Cornette cutting a promo on behalf of Yoko as we hear the audio feed of Mabel's entrance, resulting in an accidental rap that is still better than the WrestleRock Rumble theme.

Otherwise, in pace and style, this was a slug-fest, a bad sumo match with added, endless punching, and at one point, Yoko sold a botched bulldog probably because he was knackered.
