10 Wrestling Matches You Should Watch To Prepare For WWE Extreme Rules

5. CM Punk Vs. Chris Jericho - Chicago Street Fight (Extreme Rules 2012)

There have been several well known Chicago Street Fight type matches because is known for being a blue collar city with tough people, so it's fighting to have a "Street Fight" match there. That's why WWE has made the Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper match at Extreme Rules a Chicago Street Fight because they have had some wild brawls, so it's a stipulation that fits. One of the more recent Chicago Street Fight matches that was when CM Punk was in the middle of his monstrous 434 day WWE Title reign and he had a feud with Chris Jericho that was built up for months. After Punk beat him at WrestleMania 28, the feud continued and it led to this match that was much more physical. It's probably the best match that these two had although WrestleMania matches are typically the ones that people remember the most. They also had a match in Chicago at the Payback PPV a year after this that was excellent too. In this match, Punk got the decisive win and they managed to do a lot of creative spots in the match. It's a lot of fun to watch again.
