10 Wrestling Matches You Wish Jim Ross Called

5. John Cena Vs. CM Punk - Money In The Bank 2011

Few evenings in WWE history are as well-remembered as Money in the Bank 2011. With the possible exception of WrestleMania X, no show ever delivered both the drama and the in-ring action of the event that saw CM Punk defeat John Cena for the WWE Championship.

The whole event would have been even better with Jim Ross calling it, but hearing the voice of WWE call the company's best match in the last two decades would have been spectacular. Punk and Cena fought their hearts out, and even though "The Straight-Edge Superstar" was something of a heel, he fought with enough honour to earn J.R.'s respect.

Instead, the announcer's ire would have been directed toward Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis, who ran interference against Punk (and would probably get called "no-good sons of bitches").

Punk, of course, picked up the win, took the title, and ran out of the arena with it, making for an incredible ending. It just would have been a little better with J.R. shouting "CM PUNK HAS JUST ABSCONDED WITH THE WWE TITLE!".
