On the June 17 edition of WWE Main Event, Sarah Logan defeated Dana Brooke via referee stoppage. After Logan smashed her face into the ring post with a hard knee, Brooke juiced a gusher. She was out of commission, and thus began an epic rivalry spanning all of time.

Seriously: week after week, seemingly without end, WWE ran Sarah Logan Vs. Dana Brooke on Main Event as a blood feud. The programme drew incredulous cult interest on the fringes of Wrestling Twitter, dozens of whom were aghast at this development. Every week, it was Dana Brooke Vs. Sarah Logan, exchanging wins, stuck in a cruel vortex of repeated nothingness. This was the most 50/50 feud to ever 50/50. There was simply no separating these mirror images of one another.

Doubling as a sort of value range Natalya Vs. Lacey Evans, in that Logan was presumably instructed to sharpen Brooke's raw, green athleticism, perhaps that wasn't the intention. Think about how much Vince McMahon has to deal with on any given day. Main Event is about as low on his list of priorities as his son's birthday.

Perhaps some intrepid scamp of a writer, fed up of Vince's gasket-blowing, played a game of chicken when handing the old man the draft run sheet, just to prove once and for all that he has no idea what happened the week prior.
