10 Wrestling Mistakes That Made Matches Better

9. Titus Worldslide (WWE Greatest Royal Rumble 2018)

Great Sasuke Jushin Liger Botch

WWE's 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble was one of the stipulation's lesser bouts by design.

The goal wasn't to deliver an all-timer crammed with big-name returns, hair-raising showdowns, and the Rumble's trademark drama but a fun, breezy encounter for a wrestling-deprived Saudi Arabian crowd. To that end, it succeeded. An audience of 60,000 crammed into the King Abdullah International Stadium to watch some of WWE's biggest stars mingle with unlikely debutants (Dan Matha, Babatunde), returnees (The Great Khali, Hornswoggle) and whatever Hiroki Sumi is, with Braun Strowman's record 13 eliminations earning him a shiny commemorative belt.

Ultimately, the Greatest Royal Rumble will go down as a 6/10 match with a 10/10 botch.

Titus Worldslide was 2018's best wrestling meme. As Titus O'Neil sped down the ramp at full pelt, lost his footing, when arse over tit, and skidded under the ring, everyone watching at home lost their minds. Michael Cole and co. couldn't keep it together in the announce booth either and Titus, to his credit, took it extremely well, even when WWE came out with a commemorative t-shirt. Sadly, he lasted just under five minutes before getting thrown out.
