This one isn't here for the reasons you're thinking.

Sure, Madusa tossing the WWF Women's Title into the trash was an eye-popping dig in the ribs from Eric Bischoff to Vince McMahon. However, it also opened doors to something much larger than a quick "f*ck you" from WCW to its still-larger competition.

Think of it this way: McMahon probably wouldn't have been so paranoid about the thought of Bret Hart leaving for WCW with his own belt two years later in 1997 had the ex-Alundra Blayze not stuck it to him live on Nitro. The thought of Bret being treacherous might not even have crossed Vince's mind at all.

Madusa binning the Women's strap spooked McMahon, and that led to the infamous 'Montreal Screwjob' at Survivor Series 1997. No, nobody's suggesting that Madusa is wholly responsible, but she did get into Vince's head with her antics.

Without that Nitro bit, Montreal becomes less likely, and so does the aftermath creation of Vince's "Mr. McMahon" character.
