Wrestling's most shocking moments are often scarier than they first appear, especially when you know what happened just beneath the surface. WWE stars performing dangerous moves whilst totally out of it, production miscues that could've ended in disaster, bold bumps that skirt a fine line between brave/reckless - it's all here.

There's even time to squeeze in a WCW trope that might've ended one legend's life whilst saving another. That's a harrowing thought, and it isn't lost on the iconic worker who realised a little too late that he definitely wasn't prepared to go through with company plans. Ploughing on, he did it anyway. Thankfully, things worked out for him.

Others wouldn't get so lucky.

Think of all this as a fresh spin on some famous bumps and stunts you'll definitely remember. Need another reason to fear what Mick Foley and The Undertaker went through in their history-making Hell In A Cell encounter? You got it. Fancy looking at an over-the-top flaming table bump in a different way? That's included too.

Sometimes, the truth is more terrifying than the work. Start chewing fingernails!

10. Goldberg Gives A Concussed Jackhammer

This is the first of several entries involving The Undertaker, but he wasn't at fault for any of them. Whilst it obviously takes two to tango during a match, 'Taker was definitely on the receiving end and got the worst of things here. Yes, it's time to talk about his thoroughly miserable bout vs. Goldberg at Super ShowDown 2019.

Looking back, the first few minutes of the brawl were actually decent. Things fell apart quickly once Goldberg's head collided with the ring post and he suffered a concussion though. All bets were off after that. Seeing stars, Bill tried to muscle 'The Deadman' up for his trademark Jackhammer finish as planned anyway.

He wobbled, visibly struggled to keep 'Taker aloft, then crumpled to the canvas as a certain 'Phenom' nearly came down headfirst. Yikes! Goldberg is strong, but the thought of him performing that move with a concussion and what could've happened as a result is more chilling than a simple botch.

These guys should've called an audible and avoided that finisher.
