While the Bloodline Saga would continue to produce some captivating events and Cody Rhodes' eventual war with Brock Lesnar certainly had its moments, many would still class WrestleMania 39's conclusion as one of the most disenchanting of the last decade.

The story was certainly there to be finished, and many quickly took to social media in the wake of Solo Sikoa helping Roman Reigns keep hold of his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to bury the controversial call.

And if seeing their boy not walk out of SoFi Stadium with the belt his father never won wasn't enough to scare some folks away from the WWE machine, then the absolutely appalling Raw after WrestleMania that followed it may have unintentionally done the trick.

It did honestly feel like a ton of the momentum that had been built up in that white hot period heading into the Los Angeles 'Mania was Samoan Spiked, speared, and then F-5'd into oblivion by the time that shockingly bad episode of the red show went off the air.

WWE may still be currently enjoying one of its hottest periods ever, but there was definitely a few moments there in the aftermath of Roman's reign shockingly continuing that had many fans questioning whether this demoralising story was worth still sticking around for.
