The 10 September 2012 edition of Raw will never be forgotten.

There, during a routine tag match pitting Kane and Daniel Bryan vs. The Prime Time Players, longstanding colour commentator Jerry Lawler suddenly went quiet. Fans tuning in live heard some muffled snoring, then a bit of panic in fellow announcer Michael Cole's voice.

Lawler had collapsed, suffered a heart attack and stopped breathing at ringside. Medics worked on the 'King' as the WWE flagship roared on beside them, and Cole did everything in his power to keep things ticking along by himself; Michael deserves immense credit for that, because he must've been losing his mind with worry for a friend.

Jerry was carted off to hospital and revived. He eventually made a full recovery, but some fans thought they'd watched the legend die at ringside live on air. This moment is still every bit as shocking as it was back then almost a full 10 years on.
