Everyone watching 'Beyond The Mat' felt for Mick Foley's young kids Noelle and Dewey. They, along with Mick's wife Collette, watched on from the stands as daddy dearest took unprotected chair shot after unprotected chair shot to the head from The Rock at Royal Rumble 1999.

The beating became rather uncomfortable just a few cracks in.

Foley has since expressed his annoyance towards Rocky for continuing to cave his skull in despite already agreeing to just a handful of chair shots beforehand. Their 'I Quit' match was a feisty affair though, and The Rock apparently got carried away with bloodlust as he hammered away at Mankind's skull.

Close up camera shots of Mick revealed that there was pretty much nobody home - he was concussed, barely conscious and struggling to stay with it. Meanwhile, his poor children screamed and cried in the crowd because they thought their father was being beaten to within an inch of his life in-ring.

This is still hard to watch in 2022.
