Several of this guy's friends watched WrestleMania 34 through cracks in their fingers. No, they weren't horrified at Charlotte Flair ending Asuka's winning streak. No, they didn't fear the big bumps in the opening three-way ladder bout. Instead, they feared one thing and one thing only.

Daniel Bryan getting hurt.

One mate in particular was positively outraged when Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn smashed Bryan on the ring apron with a powerbomb before their tag (also starring Shane McMahon) started. That was really risky, because this was Dan's first match back since retiring in 2015 due to major injuries and concussion problems.

The bump looked awesome, but it was certainly heightening the risk of re-injury for beloved babyface Bryan. Nobody in the room properly enjoyed the 15-minute tag match, largely because they just wanted Daniel to come through the thing unscathed.

He did, and went on to enjoy another sparkling WWE run before leaving for AEW.
