Though Nia Jax had always loved the wrestling business from afar, the performer never felt it was the career path for her as she sadly didn't think WWE would be interested in someone her size.

Yet, the plus-size model finally decided to embrace the industry after her front-row experience at WrestleMania XXVIII.

Watching her cousin The Rock battle John Cena in the main event was enough to convince her that she had to do this, as she told WWE.com in 2015:

'I remember being ringside at WrestleMania 28, watching my cousin Dwayne (The Rock) face Cena, and thinking to myself, ‘" have to do this!’"

Though she was nervous during her eventual tryout, the moment the 'Irresistible Force' began moving in the ring she 'knew this was where (she) was supposed to be'.

Since signing with WWE in 2014, Jax has gone on to win the Raw Women's Championship and shared the ring with high-level performers like Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey and Sasha Banks. It hasn't always been plain sailing for Jax, though, as she has been labelled as 'dangerous' in the ring on a number of occasions. However, she is still being regularly used on WWE television and has proven that you can be any size and still make it as a woman in pro wrestling.
