10 Wrestling Moments You Didn’t Realise Inspired People To Become Wrestlers

8. Fabian Aichner - SmackDown 2003: The Undertaker Vs. Big Show Vs. Brock Lesnar

2003 was something of a golden age when it comes to SmackDown.

Rising stars like John Cena, Edge and Rey Mysterio were all making a name for themselves on the blue show, and veterans like Chris Benoit and Eddie Guerrero were also finally being allowed to showcase exactly what they were capable of as singles performers in WWE.

On top of all this fantastic talent further down the card, the main event scene was crammed full of future legends, and it's no surprise these world class workers inspired a couple of youngsters to follow in their footsteps.

One specific match that year helped nudge one half of the current NXT Tag Team Champions towards a career in pro wrestling. Fabian Aichner of Imperium recently revealed to Metro UK that after just five minutes of SmackDown he knew what he wanted to do with the rest of his life.

The bout which gripped the Italian wrestler involved none other than The Undertaker, Big Show and Brock Lesnar battling it out for a shot at Kurt Angle's WWE Championship. It's not hard to see why as the three powerhouses proved exactly why SmackDown was the show to watch at the time. 'Taker eventually had his hand raised at the end of the chaotic heavyweight war and Aichner's journey to the black and yellow brand was underway.
