1. Sgt. Slaughter & Camouflage - Rocks America
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCAw3xs7U7w Did you know Sgt. Slaughter released a rock album? No? Its okay. No one did. To be fair to Sarge, he was quite a big deal in the 80s. He was an extremely popular wrestler, known for his time in both the AWA and WWF. Furthermore, he was prominently featured on the Saturday morning cartoon, G.I. Joe. He even had a tug of war battle with a monster truck and won. Obviously, Slaughter was a master of everything he tried his hand at. So, he apparently thought to himself, why not release an album? He teamed up with some guy named Camouflage, and together they brought rockin American tunes to all who bought the record -- probably about a dozen people. Slaughter doesnt even sing on the album. Instead, he chimes in every once in awhile with either a grunt or retort. He even takes it upon himself to recite the Pledge of Allegiance mid-song. Maybe Sarge should have stuck to battling professional wrestlers, monster trucks, and the COBRA Command. Can you think of any other wrestlers that recorded and released an album? Let us know if we missed any in the comments below.
