1. Shawn Michaels
In his own words, Shawn Michaels will never wrestle a match ever again. His last bout took place at WrestleMania XXVI in 2010, and was a fitting end to such a storied career. Piecing together one last epic with The Undertaker, Michaels has only appeared in non-wrestling roles ever since. At this point, it seems most of the wrestling community believes he is done with grappling. However, that's not necessarily the main point of this article. If he wanted to, it's highly likely that Michaels could work matches to a high level in 2016. Fans were teased with the idea of a match against Daniel Bryan several years ago, and some even think it's only a matter of time before HBK decides to make a comeback. It's highly plausible that he'd be slower, but Michaels has a tremendous mind for the industry he grew up adoring. Despite any lack of speed, he'd still be able to use his brilliant in-ring psychology to concoct watchable matches. Many fans are split on the idea, even though it realistically has little chance of happening. Michaels theorised he was done in the late-1990's, but roared back to have another decade of magic. If he ever wanted to, there's no reason why - over a shorter time - he couldn't do the same once more.
