10 Wrestling Old Timers Who Could Still Go In WWE

4. Ricky Steamboat

In 2009, Ricky Steamboat did himself proud. At WrestleMania XXV, he was the only legend who could really work the way he had during the peak of his career. Teaming with Jimmy 'Superfly' Snuka and 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper, Steamboat shone brightly when he entered the ring for brief exchanges against Chris Jericho. Thankfully, this is something WWE officials picked up on. Deciding to reward 'The Dragon' for his efforts and professionalism, the company booked him to face Jericho one-on-one at the following pay-per-view. At Backlash, Steamboat once again looked fantastic. Fans were similarly enthused, receptive to everything Ricky did. Chants of, 'you still got it' thundered out. In one of his books, Jericho remarked that he was surprised by just how good Ricky Steamboat was during both bouts. Now, Steamboat is 62 years old, but there's every chance he still has the athletic ability to work good matches. His speed may have lessened, but the man's in-ring timing and knowledge of what works within his limitations makes him wonderful to watch.
