On 16th May 2017, a tweet from Dave Meltzer changed the wrestling world. When asked by fan @TheWWEGuy_ on Twitter whether Ring of Honor could sell out a 10,000 seat arena, Meltzer replied with "Not any time soon". This response drew one of its own from a certain Cody Rhodes, who simply put "I'll take that bet, Dave".

Less than a year-and-a-half later, All In took place at the Sears Centre Arena in Chicago. Orchestrated by Cody and The Young Bucks, All In was a celebration of everything in pro wrestling outside of WWE. Performers from Ring of Honor, New Japan, the NWA, and various other indie promotions all took to the ring to show off what they could do and, in the process, sold 11,263 tickets.

The impact of All In cannot be understated and is still being felt to this very day. It changed the way the wrestling world viewed the independent scene, gave many young wrestlers their biggest platform ever, and oh yeah, something about some guy called Tony being there? All In didn't just try something new, it deliberately attempted to shake up the status quo of wrestling at the time and it damn well succeeded.
