10 Wrestling Promos That Started REAL Backstage Heat

5. Chris Bosh And AJ Styles

My favourite wrestling story of all time, of all time, is this.

During the 2005 Battle of Los Angeles, Chris Bosh riffed on the Austin 3:16 Promo while doing a segment with AJ Styles. Somehow, someway, Styles did not understand the reference and thought it was a dig at how religious he is.

His reply: “Don't you ever, EVER, mock MY Jesus”.

The man is insane.

[Tragically I cannot find a single surviving clip of this anywhere online. Botchamania used to have a great breakdown of it but it looks like that's been taken down. If you can find it anywhere please tweet me.]

UPDATE: IT HAS BEEN FOUND Thank you to the literally hundreds of you who send me this majestic clip.
