10 Wrestling Reboots More Famous Than The Original

Gimmick-themed pay-per-views are symptomatic of WWE's lack of imagination, cry the critics. They can no longer draw in the fans through well-built storylines, so must instead resort to filling their monthly Network shows with endless weapon matches, regardless of whether the feuds actually call for them.

But is Vince McMahon really to blame for all of this? After all, TNA created Lockdown, an event in which every match takes place inside Six Sides of Steel (that's basically just a Cage Match), all the way back in 2005.

Of course, we've no way of knowing for sure that WWE got the idea for Elimination Chamber, Tables, Ladders & Chairs and Money in the Bank from their, ahem, rivals - but, whatever the case, they were certainly beaten to the punch.

Another thing that might irk them is that, while their versions are of course more famous, TNA still arguably does it better. In its heyday, Lockdown was almost always one of the year's best wrestling shows, even when it featured Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair in the headline match.
