Hopefully, Big E is in fact able to return to the ring after suffering a broken neck in March - the loudest member of the New Day is an extremely beloved figure who deserves another run in the company.
The former WWE Champion was just starting to be considered as a main event figure in the company before his deeply unfortunate injury occurred, but there is certainly scope for a return befitting of the man who has earned it. Big E has been a part of the WWE main roster for a decade and has worked tirelessly on his own and as a part of his legendary team alongside Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston to get to the top.
It is perhaps insensitive to fantasy book the return of a man who has to prioritise his health first and foremost, so it is simpler just to say that as long as he does return to our screens in 2023 then it will be one of the best things to happen in wrestling all year.
