10 Wrestling Returns That Must Happen In 2023
8. Randy Orton
History will be kind to Randy Orton's WWE career, as his long tenure with the company has undoubtedly made him a legend within the sport, despite him having many detractors throughout the years. Orton has had many highs and lows in his career but when fans last saw him he was one of the best parts of the promotion alongside Matt Riddle.
R-K-Bro was organically getting over with the fans to a huge degree and was seemingly setting up Riddle and Orton to have a big feud which would put the former on course for superstardom. Instead, due to Randy's latest injury problems the partnership and eventual split have been put on hold indefinitely, with further updates on 'The Viper's' condition being somewhat worrying.
If in fact, Orton is able to return to the ring then he must complete his work with the 'Original Bro,' as his mentee has somewhat floundered without him. It would also be unfair for the 'Apex Predator' not to have the opportunity to end his career on his own terms, so having one final full-time run would be a great thing to see in 2023.
