10 Wrestling Returns That Would Improve WWE TV

8. John Morrison

John Hennigan/Mundo/Morrison/Impact doesn't need WWE. If he did, he'd already have returned for a quick pay day when the company were bringing back ex-talent like Shelton Benjamin and Curt Hawkins to bolster the roster post-Draft a few years ago (assuming WWE were interested, which they should have been).

The truth is that WWE are the ones who would benefit most from Morrison's return. The Jim Morrison rockstar persona he worked before leaving in 2011 is memorable, and he's improved vastly as a wrestler since those days. WWE's roster has changed significantly too, so there's so much more ground for Johnny boy to cover.

Imagine the matches he could have on either brand. There would also, somewhere down the road, be potential to link his rockstar gimmick up with Shinsuke Nakamura's to form a star-studded tag-team. It's a long shot, but re-signing Morrison is one worth exploring even if he's only there to make other, younger talents look good or tag along with Nakamura.

That slo-mo entrance would need the pyro though. Just saying.
