While he still has the championship and is still doing open challenges, bringing back former United States Champion Shelton Benjamin for a match would be worthwhile. As well, as long as they're talking to the former WWE competitor, getting him signed to the same type of deal Rhyno has in NXT is worthwhile, too. If John Cena is in the mood to have really athletic matches, bringing back Shelton Benjamin is a great idea. Amazingly enough, Benjamin on Raw would likely get some longtime WWE eyes back onto the product. These days, WWE should be seriously attempting to get as many of its long-time fans invested in the product again. Just as the company did before pushing into the Attitude Era, having diehards on board with WWE's creative direction is important.
