Although both Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett were in WWE, this took place during their time in TNA. They were feuding back in 2008 before Jarrett got engaged to Angle's ex-wife a year later.

As rumours began to fly around regarding the situation, TNA president Dixie Carter questioned Jarrett about the relationship. Jarrett denied this but eventually the truth would be revealed. After realising he lied to her, Dixie suspended Double J.

Upon his return to the company, Jarrett entered straight into a feud with Angle that revolved around Karen Angle (soon to be Jarrett). On screen, the feud was that Karen was cheating on the Olympic gold medalist and having an affair with Jarrett. Of course, in real life Angle and Karen had already split but this made for a good story.

To be honest, TNA did a pretty good job in turning this situation into a good on-screen feud.
