10 Wrestling Rivals Who Seriously Can’t Stand Each Other

7. Sadie Gibbs & Bea Priestley

Things got ugly between Will Ospreay and Sadie Gibbs in January 2019. It began with a since-deleted tweet from the NJPW star stating that he'd passed advice onto two women's wrestlers going out to wrestle in Japan, one of whom, Bobbi Tyler (tagged in the original tweet), had taken it on board. It was inferred that the other had not.

Gibbs' own Japanese excursion coincided with Tyler's. Seven days prior to Ospreay's tweet, she'd had to pull out of a run with Stardom halfway through. Sadly, this was due to a family bereavement - something Ospreay failed to take into account in his original post.

Seven months later, Gibbs met Ospreay's then-partner Bea Priestley in an AEW ring at All Out 2019. A blatantly uncooperative sequence followed, beginning with Bea stiffing Sadie with a kick, and then striking her back. "Stupid, stupid, stupid!" Priestley screamed, channelling prime Randy Orton, but this was no work.

No-selling a Gorilla Press moments later, Priestley was reportedly swung at by Gibbs when the duo got backstage. Ospreay has since taken ownership of his role in the spat.
