10 Wrestling Segments That Accidentally Filmed Things You Weren't Meant To See

8. The Creeper Who Couldn't Punch

December 2019 wasn't a particularly great time for All Elite Wrestling.

It was a patchy, botch-infested month in which AEW struggled to ignite various storylines between Full Gear and Revolution. One infamous segment felt like the promotion had imploded.

This wasn't any old angle. It was of some significance: the Dark Order's successful infiltration of the Elite was Dynamite's big cliffhanger heading into 2020. Unfortunately, Shane McMahon was hired to play the role of creeper extra.

OK, he wasn't - but AEW did pay a different barely-trained wrestler an extra's fee to draw heat at the expense of the Elite. This extra compounded an existing problem, in that the Elite had faded as stars. This angle and the dismal execution did little to help, given the extra, a charlatan of a local indie guy, missed Dustin Rhodes' temple by a clear foot when attempting to subdue him with worked punches. It was a melee. He thought he could get away with not working snug. Regrettably, his terrible work was front and centre.

AEW was annihilated and even written off altogether in the aftermath of an incident so rotten that the very date is canonised as a day of mourning: 'December 18'.

"Fire this person now," Mark Henry tweeted.

On the following evidence, he's got a right bloody cheek...
