10 Wrestling Spots That Pissed Off Legends
1. Mick Foley Isn't Happy With Drew McIntyre's Chair Shots
Mick Foley knows a thing or two about putting it all on the line for the sake of making a feud or match feel like something truly special. So, when the mind behind Mankind has a problem with a spot going down in the middle of the squared-circle, the chances are he's probably got a point.
During Monday Night Raw's recent return to live fan attended shows, those watching on were treated to the sight of former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre pulverising Shanky, Jinder Mahal's associate, with a steel chair, with the crowd all joining in as the connection count hit a whopping 34!
Jumping on the Twitter machine shortly after, Foley confessed he was a "Big fan of Drew’s…but 20 (sic) chair shots should either be done to build a feud of epic proportions…or they shouldn’t be done at all".
You could argue that perhaps McIntyre simply got caught up in the electric moment, unfortunately for Shanky. But if the person who was once battered with 11 unprotected chair shots to the head in one night tells you to bring it down a notch, then it may be wise to listen.
