4. John Cena Tells Tyler Reks Not To Do An Inverted Death Valley Driver Again
Speaking of Super Cena, you'd think that a star who is so protective of his own finisher would go out of his way to not cheapen another WWE titan's, right?
The story goes that Cena called out a number of talents within the WWE borders during his time at the top for using moves that looked remarkably similar to his finisher of choice - the Attitude Adjustment (f.k.a. the FU). Among these stars was Gabbi Tuft (f.k.a. Tyler Reks) who once came equipped with an inverted death valley driver, otherwise known as a burning hammer, as her signature match-ender. Yet, once Cena caught a glimpse of her finishing a match with this weapon, he was having none of it.
As Tuft would later recall, Cena blasted her backstage not long after, even going as far as to tell her, "Find another finisher or you're fired."
You'd like to think that Cena has mellowed on this stance now that he's become a Hollywood superstar in his own right in recent years. But it is worth noting that you'll still find next to nobody pulling off a burning hammer under the WWE banner to this day, though that's probably a result of its perceived level of danger than anything else.
