10 Wrestling Stalker Angles

8. Tori And Sable

In 1999, there was no female performer in the industry hotter and more in-demand than Sable. One of the biggest stars of the Attitude Era and a trailblazer for future generations of Divas, she was preparing for her first pictorial and cover shoot for the adult men's magazine Playboy. It was natural that she would have legions of fans all over the globe but one, in particular, took things a bit too far. Her name was Tori and she would play a major role in the growth and evolution of the Sable character in the wake of her arrival. Tori was an overzealous fan, for sure. She presented Sable with flowers and jumped the barricade anytime someone threatened the blonde bombshell. But she was also sweet and innocent, for the most part. That is why Sable's behavior regarding the newcomer was particularly despicable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2RBJqs0TQ4 Rather than thanking her for her support, Sable looked down on Tori. It was a major part of her character's new attitude, one in which she saw herself superior to everyone around her. She mocked Tori, looked down on her even. Then there was that time she assaulted her, setting up a WrestleMania XV bout between them. Tori made her in-ring debut at the show, unsuccessfully challenging Sable for the WWE Women's Championship, thanks to late-match interference from Nicole Bass. And her stalkerish, super-fan status was never again mentioned again.
