Everything about Mark Henry's performance on the 17 June 2013 episode of Raw was world class. The pastel pink suit jacket, the crocodile tears, the sad admission to his family that it was time to come home, everything. It was like Henry had saved up all his promo chips and cashed them in for one major payload, and it totally fooled fans.

People genuinely believed Mark was ready to retire, and John Cena played his role of respectful champion brilliantly too. Then, when Henry blasted Cena with his World's Strongest Slam and chastised him for falling into the trap, fans lost their minds. They'd been tricked just the same as Cena had in storyline, and it felt good.

This one would be higher on the list had Henry not started to wind down his career post-feud. Regardless of that incoming career dotage, Henry's 2013 turn was dynamite stuff. It successfully deceived everyone, and it had people high-fiving one another in the stands.

Awesome.
