https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMp8aDH8d9M Being the boss of the WWE and all, Mr. McMahon was always destined to get a theme song that summarized his powerful public persona but when 'No Chance In Hell' was debuted at Royal Rumble 1999 none could foreshadow it being as good as it was. Well that's just what happened with this hard funk theme song because it oozes bravado every step of the way. Jim Johnston yet again shows why he's the master of creating tracks that serve as an extension of the characters. This one is no different. The best part of this slinking number is the infectious, shout-heavy chorus which hits hard with authority, again emphasizing the character's superiority. It is a conventionally structured song but the verses act more as a conduit to that overpowering, rip roaring chorus. Given some more time, this one could have been fleshed out more. It does feature some nice funk basslines and effects-laden guitar chords during the more subdued sections of the track though. As over the top and bombastic as the character it's portraying is, 'No Chance In Hell' remains a staple in the wrestling theme song canon. If this one was stewed over for a little longer, it may have been the best one of them all.
