https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rJv3cREyXZw Okay for you music fans not in the know, you might not be aware of this odd wrestling storyline from the mid-90's. In a nutshell it was a battle between Jeff Jarrett and Road Dogg for the rights of the yearning country ballad 'With My Baby Tonight', which culminated in Road Dogg being revealed as the actual proprietor of the track. The storyline may have epitomized the lack of imagination synonymous with that particular era in wrestling, but the song epitomized the sound team's ability to perfectly emulate genres of music down to a tee. Plaudits go to the Road Dogg himself for a fine vocal performance as well the sheer multitude of guitar techniques on display. There's some nice country licks, a blazing guitar solo and gentle guitar strums that help to round out this Garth Brooks inspired number. Wrestling fans may scoff at it (mainly because of the context surrounding it) but in reality, 'With My Baby Tonight' is a polished little barndancing hit that could have stood out on its own, especially without the overblown wrestling angle that enveloped it.
