Jim Ross left listeners slack-jawed when he told a story about his bathroom-related horror in the 1980s on his podcast. Whilst attending a meeting with Bill Watts to discuss Vince McMahon's expansion plans for the WWF and how to counteract them, JR was horrified to hear a few NWA promoters talk about murdering Vince.

At least he was in the right place - Ross was trying to take a sh*t at the time.

When he told Watts what had happened later, a laid back 'Cowboy' told him that the promoters wouldn't do anything and were just blowing off steam. He told Jim not to worry about it and began talking business without batting an eyelid. JR struggled to get over what he'd heard from the stalls though, and rightfully so.

Watts' coolness suggested that this maybe wasn't an isolated incident, or that he'd witnessed similar threats before without action. Ross said the McMahon story wasn't "expounded upon" by the people involved. Obviously, nothing actually came of it. Was it as serious as it sounded, or just frustrated old-timers talking out of turn?
