3. Would WrestleMania's Failure Have Ruined WWE?

As legend has it, Vince McMahon put everything he had behind the very first WrestleMania. His bold 1985 experiment was reportedly a make or break moment in his career as the figurehead of the WWF, and may have killed his aspirations for growth and expansion had it flopped.

Wrestling fans have heard all those dramatic claims from Bruce Prichard, Hulk Hogan and others on podcasts over the years, but McMahon has rarely spoken that in-depth about it. He did give a glimpse into his psyche at the time on WWE's own 'True Story Of WrestleMania' DVD in 2011, but that was an in-house piece. It's hardly shocking that Vince went along with the story.

It makes him look like a daring genius.

Of course, putting all his financial eggs in one basket for one solitary event was ballsy, and nobody should dismiss McMahon's bravery. If it's true that 'Mania's failure could've killed his WWF off as an industry titan, then he deserves immense credit for taking that risk.
