2. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is in a pretty weird place right now. As Dean Ambrose's goofy sidekick and The Authority's punching bag, crowds once again appear to be getting behind him, and many currently believe that he's either going to make a surprise heel turn by taking down his former Shield teammate or that he's once again being built up to a fan-favourite. Whatever the future holds for Roman, having him go after the US title would be no bad thing. Just like Cena has helped to make the belt relevant, Reigns (who has been going after the WWE World Heavyweight Championship for months now) could do the same. To make this match worthwhile, he would really have to beat Cena and be established as a dominant champion. This could work well with Roman as either a heel or face, and the two had some pretty solid match ups the few times Cena clashed with The Shield. There's definitely a lot of potential here anyway, and this would again be something refreshing.
