The 'Bionic Redneck' and the 'Rainbow-Haired Warrior' were two of the most over Superstars of the Attitude Era, and remain fan-favourites to this day.

Both men garnered the fan's affection by refusing to say die and by taking huge risks. 'Stone Cold' never hesitated in laying down the bottom line or opening up a can of whoop-ass on his opponents or, most notably, his boss. 'The Charismatic Enigma' entertained us all with his high-flying ability and daredevil attitude, putting his own body on the line.

The majority of their non-singles encounters occurred in 2001. The entirety of Team Extreme took on Two-Man Power Trip alongside Stephanie McMahon in Boston, Massachusetts on 9 April. Later that month, the pair collided in the aforementioned Four-On-Four Tag Team Match in Denver, Colorado.

Fast forward to August, Austin took the Hardy's on again, as well as his arch rival at the time, Kurt Angle, teaming with the Dudley Boyz, ending in a no-contest. on the 104th edition of SmackDown.
