If you have attractive males and females with great bodies on your roster, it makes sense that you would want to show them off and place them in some sort of sexy situations to take advantage of that. If you like hot men, you get what you want. If you like hot women, you get what you want. Everyone wins. Why, then, would anyone in the WWF decide they should parade Mideon out on television every week wearing nothing but a fanny pack (he had a flesh-colored thong on underneath, but it was always passed off as him being totally nude), nobody will ever understand. It did nothing to serve his career, and there weren't exactly Geocities fan sites dedicated to Dennis Knight (the man playing the Mideon character) for how attractive people thought he was. The whole thing just seemed like an inside joke that no viewer was privy to. You know who probably enjoyed it, and would probably laugh uncontrollably every time Naked Mideon was on television? Vince McMahon.
