10 WWE Attitude Era Stars Who Could Replace Today's Roster
6. Ryback/Ken Shamrock
Imagine if Ryback had a sliver of some sort of legitimate reason for being so jacked and intense in order to have some sort of reason for holding the number two championship in WWE? Instead, he doesn't, and in missing that background, he's much less a B-grade Ultimate Warrior than he is actually a B-grade Ken Shamrock. At some point, WWE would've done SO well as to get Ryback into some sort of MMA-style training environment that they could film. Having Ryback even aligned with MMA (hell, what about with Shamrock???) would be an immense assist for his career at-present. Ryback "snapping" before doing the Meat Hook clothesline and the Shellshocked would be so much better than him bumping and feeding like every other wrestler ever. The crowd LOVES Ryback. What about digging into the way-back machine and pairing him with another guy who actually did his gimmick better?
