It's common these days for the WWE to debut young talent by having them squash a whole host of jobbers on their way to differing degrees of success. Just months after destroying Jamie Noble on Raw, Sheamus instantly found himself becoming the WWE Champion. Fast forward to the modern day and he holds a Royal Rumble victory, a King of the Ring success (admittedly not as prestigious an event as it once was, but still), as well as numerous championship reigns.
