10 WWE Big Men Who Were Surprisingly Good Wrestlers
4. Kane
Kane, like Big Show, has regressed significantly in his later years.
His slide hasn’t been quite as spectacular, but Kane’s monstrous aura is all but dead in the water, and he’s endured a storied career packed with various ups and downs. Victim to some of the absolute worst storylines in WWE history (Katie Vick, say no more…), Kane has regardless been with the company since 1995, making him one of WWE’s most loyal and valued employees.
While most near-7ft wrestlers tend to carry a lot of excess fat around, Kane always stayed in great shape, and was incredibly trim for a man of his height. This allowed him to stay incredibly light on his feet throughout his career, and Kane was often seen leaping and diving around the ring, sometimes even going to the top rope to pull-off a stunning missile dropkick. He was - and still is - a freak athlete, and in his prime, The Big Red Machine was one of WWE’s most menacing presences.
His legacy doesn’t quite match his storyline brother The Undertaker’s, but Kane was a special talent. Despite his athleticism, Kane is widely regarded as one of the safest wrestlers of all-time, and though impressive, his moveset is surprisingly low-impact on his body. This has allowed him to sustain a successful career with the biggest wrestling company on the planet for more than two decades, and he still catches WWE fans off-guard to this day.
