10 WWE Blade Jobs That Turned Nasty

8. Triple H - Backlash 2006

Triple H has never been afraid to blade and you can find literally scores of matches out there where he cut deep. Wrestlemania 20 and any of his Hell in a Cell matches are immediate examples. Perhaps the deepest he ever cut though came in a mostly forgotten triple threat match between himself, Edge and John Cena in April of 2006. This is downright messy. He cuts himself as Edge sends him into a ring-post, covering both his entire body and some of Edge's within a minute. A stint on the floor by the announce table left huge pools of blood over the desk and announcer's chairs. Later, Cena applies an STF(U) leading to a close up of Hunter's face so completely smothered in blood, the term €œcrimson mask€ had never been more astutely applied. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xGVKAVCwII Say what you will about him, Triple H is a guy who always went the extra mile to sell a match.
