This one came out of nowhere. At the conclusion of an episode of Raw in 2000 during The Rock's feud with the McMahon-Helmsley regime, the episode closed with an attack by the whole faction on The Rock after he won a cage match. Simple attack by a heel faction on the babyface, nothing special right? Far from it. Triple H smacks Rock in the face with a pair of brass knuckles. He immediately covers his head on the ground as he blades. Triple H dutifully Pedigrees him and cuts a promo before being chased off by The Acolytes. The whole thing lasts no more than about 3 minutes and yet by the time Raw went off the air, The Rock was lying back-first in a massive pool of his own blood, indicating he cut far too deep. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xmme7y_the-rock-vs-bull-buchanan-and-the-big-boss-man-raw-4-10-2000_sport The Rock has got some criticism over the years for being too light when he bladed... but not this time.
Betting on being a brilliant brother to Bodhi since 2008 (-1 Asian Handicap). Find me @LiamJJohnson on Twitter where you might find some wonderful pearls of wisdom in a stout cocktail of profanity, football discussion and general musings. Or you might not. Depends how red my eyes are.
