The one thing that separates Hulk Hogan's run on top of WWE from pretty much every other wrestler who has ever followed in his footsteps is his incredible crossover appeal. In fact, only The Rock has truly ever matched (or exceeded) Hogan's mainstream credibility, which may go some way to explaining why the company hasn't seen a real boom period in a number of years.
Big E is a charismatic and extremely likeable person. His natural humour and fun-loving personality make him the perfect candidate to break out, if only he is allowed the chance. After defeating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, WWE needs to get this man in-front of as many news cameras as they can, and allow him to shine.
WWE is crying out for a babyface that everyone loves and recognises. In 2021 it is as cool to root for the bad guy as ever, but Ettore Ewen is someone even non-fans can get behind just because of who he is. By breaking through the so-called glass ceiling, and shining his light outside of the ring will be Big E's one true ticket to headlining WWE shows for years to come becoming a bonafide megastar.
