6. Put Him In A Main Roster Feud With Sami Zayn

Owens and Sami Zayn renewed acquaintances in the Royal Rumble match, after the latter returned from an injury lay-off and eliminated his old friend/foe in the process. This served as a welcome call-back to their blistering NXT title feud, which in turn harked back to their ROH days, where they initially teamed before ultimately taking part in one of the great independent wrestling rivalries in recent memory. The only place we haven't seen an extended program between the two is on the main WWE roster. Given the chance, these two would tear up Raw and Smackdown in a heartbeat, and if WWE books it well enough, both stars could come out of it with plenty of momentum. Zayn would obviously be the newcomer in the sense that he's not had as much time on the main roster, and there's also the slight risk that they'd be treading old ground again once too often in the eyes of the fans. Still, that doesn't mean Owens couldn't still benefit from this to further his own ambitions, especially if he ultimately comes out on top in the feud. We know the quality is sure to be top drawer between the pair of them every time they step through the ropes, so why not?
