2. Dio Maddin Breaks Out As A Beast
Sorry, Shane. Dio Maddin is breaking out on his own.
After destroying the competition in Raw's tag team division, a slight miscommunication is all it should take to break up Thorne and Maddin before the former Mace becomes an absolute beast of Raw's mid-card scene.
Think of him as when Braun Strowman first became genuinely alright circa 2016-2017. It's hard to think of Strowman as anything other than a massive goof these days, especially when he's being covered in goo courtesy of Shane bloody McMahon, but when he first broke out following The Wyatt Family's dissolution, he was amazing.
The same could - and should - apply to Dio Maddin.
He was a fine wrestler during his time as Mace, but think back to when he stood face to face with Brock Lesnar in November 2019. He looked genuinely threatening, even in the presence of 'The Beast Incarnate'.
Look at it this way; Dio is six foot seven inches tall, weighs just under 300 pounds, was trained by wrestling icon Booker T, and has a legitimate sporting background in the NFL. Vince is going to going to lose his sh*t over Maddin.
Have him run through jobber after jobber with the added pinch of lower-ranked contracted WWE stars, just like what 'The Monster Among Men' did, and Dio will be perfectly fine.
