10 WWE Booking Steps To Save The Members Of RETRIBUTION

So, one year from now, how do WWE ensure we entirely forget about RETRIBUTION? By booking one of its members in a marquee title contest at WrestleMania 38.

We touched upon Keith Lee vs. Dominik Dijakovic earlier. It needs to happen at 'Mania. The matches they've had together, both in NXT and on the indie circuit, were true epics. They redefined what it means to be a big man in WWE with their sensational North American Championship match at NXT TakeOver: Portland in February 2020. It's time to do the same thing on the biggest platform possible.

How we get to WrestleMania is a simplistic story because, quite frankly, it doesn't need to be anything complex.

Following the tease in the Royal Rumble Match, Lee picks up the Intercontinental Championship at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in a memorable encounter with Cesaro. That's when Dominik Dijakovic sticks his nose into 'The Limitless One's' business, challenging him to a title bout at 'Mania.

By this point, WWE are likely to have more fans back in the building, perhaps even a full house if the ongoing global health crisis subsides. How do they make 'Mania 38 a night not to be forgotten for the (hopefully large) crowd in attendance?

Simply by giving us a match that a) we want to see, and b) we know will shatter the glass ceiling.
