What Happened: Wait, hold on. 85 year-old-Bob Barker, host of ultra family-friendly CBS game show The Price Is Right, presenting WWE Raw?

It sounded like something the writers would have cooked up after a particularly late night on the cheese, and yet there he was, clear as day, presenting game show segments on WWE's flagship programme on September 7, 2009.

What was somewhat unexpected was that it provided one of the most memorable moments of the entire PG era, and what was even more unexpected than that was that said moment featured none other than Chris Jericho, at that point on the best heel run of his entire career. You couldn't write this stuff.

Oh, wait, somebody did...

Why It Worked: While on paper the idea of a TV presenter who had his golden run thirty years prior mixing it up with media-savvy WWE superstars might have seemed like an absolute bomb, we were all, it seems, forgetting one key thing: this is Bob Freakin' Barker!

Not only did Bob not miss a beat all night long (“Oh wait, the man talks!”), but he actually stole the show, and his unfeasibly entertaining stand-off during the Price Is Right segment with Jericho was an absolute riot. Bob cemented his place in WWE lore forever, while Jericho was left to forever rue that $1 bid. Poor guy.
