Edge hoisted the World Heavyweight Championship high in victory on seven separate occasions - the most reigns in the title's history.

However, he only lost the Big Gold Belt on four occasions.

While not quite reaching Shawn Michael's numbers for avoiding defeat, Edge's undefeated losses as World heavyweight champion are equally as memorable.

His first reign as World heavyweight champion ended abruptly, relinquishing the beat due to injury, a mere two months after cashing in his second Money in the Bank contract on the Undertake in 2007.

The Rated R Superstar's second non-loss of the title came during his record breaking sixth run as champion. In what was the worst title change since the championship was simply handed over to Triple H, Edge was stripped of the belt Vickie Guerrero, and it was handed over to Dolph Ziggler. While Edge would relieve Ziggler of the title for his seventh reign later in the evening, it would be his last.

A mere 8 weeks later, Edge appeared on Raw to deliver the shocking news that he had been suffering from a neck injury that could be life-threatening, should he continue to wrestle; relinquishing the title and retiring in the process.
